M 215 Rolling-up and cutting machine for rolls of bandage

This machine is used to produce coreless rolls of bandage. The basic material is a special type of cotton wool on rollers.

The cotton wool is unrolled in the machine and rolled up into a coreless long roll with a diameter of 40 mm.
Subsequently the wrapping paper is brought in using a vacuum gripper system and automatically glued, to prevent the bandage rolls from opening up.
The roll is wound up by means of three rollers which are finely attuned to each other but which go at different speeds and rotate in different directions: this ensures that the roll will be free of creases and will be firmly rolled up.

In the cutting area of the machine the rolls will be cut to different lengths. Both ends of the roll will be automatically rejected.
